Best Takeda Shingen Builds (Talent Tree) in Rise of Kingdoms

Are you looking for a build to use on Takeda Shingen in Rise of Kingdoms?

I have here the two builds that work best on him including additional explanation (I don’t like just throwing a build and let you use it without telling why it’s done the way it’s done) and a rough order how to spend your talent points if you haveN#t maxed out Takenda, yet.

Takeda Role

Disclaimer! Takeda is a great secondary commander and you probably have better options as primary commander (look here in my commander pairing guide) – with Takeda being the secondary commander the talent points aren’t active and he only uses his skills. The talent builds here are if you use Takeda as the primary commander, what I don’t really recommend in the current meta.

Takeda Builds

So, let’s have a look at the two builds that make most sense for Takeda.

Allround Cavalry Build

If you want to smash things with Takeda as the primary commander, this is the build you want to use:

Build with RoKTalent Builder

In my opinion this is the best talent build that you can use with Takeda if you’re using him as your primary commander. It’s a general build to smash whatever you like and to be okay with everything you want to do.

First of all I would go down the Mobility Tree and get Saving Cross and Vortex.

I would also go down that path to get March Speed as well because march speed is always recommended and your army with Takeda will very likely go somewhere 😉

After that get Lightning Charge and Spiked Armor as they are some really nice talents to have.

Hasty Departure is also good to get. It’s only for 10 seconds but the boost is nice if you send your Takeda army somewhere. You can also use this if you’re running away from another army and get to a resource node and use the 10 seconds boost right away to get a boost.

Now it’s time to move into the Cavalry Tree where you ultimately want to make your way to Rallying Cry. This damage buff for the first seconds is decent and worth getting but for the reason it’s only 15% I recommend doing the Mobility Tree first.

Undying Fury is also a talent that I recommend to generate some extra rage which is always useful.

Mobility Build

With this build you will get maximum march speed and it’s good for Mighty Governor or chasing down farmers on the map:

Build with RoKTalent Builder

This is a super-fast build and it’s the one you want to use if you’re running around and chase down any gathering army that you want to smash.

First of all, you go into the Mobility Tree and make your way down to get Time Management.

The only optional talent that I would pick up on the way is Hasty Departure because it’s such a nice boost.

Then work your way through to Time Management.

Time Management sounds a little weird to get if you want to chase down armies as it will decrease your march speed when you’re in combat – but the secondary skill from Takeda will neutralize it so it’s net a better move speed when you’re not in combat with not that much decrease – perfect for the purpose of hunting down armies.

After that, you can get Swiftness as well to make sure that you can actually stick to the army you’re hunting down right now. Alternatively, you can also use these 3 talent points in Equestrian Excellence – in my opinion it’s pretty much the same.

After that you should spend your last points in the Cavalry Tree and make your way to Emblazoned Shield first. On the way you will also pick up some extra March Speed and spend the rest of your points as shown in the image.

There’s no way to get any more march speed out of a build for Takeda and you will have some with it.

Conclusion
